Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
Monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and report on financial performance.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Conduct value engineering and cost optimization exercises.
Review and certify interim payments and final accounts.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to resolve cost-related issues.
Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and reporting for management.
Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations and UAE construction standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction projects (3–7 years).
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, measurement, and construction contracts.
Proficiency in QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural team environment and meet deadlines.
Salary & Benefits (Estimated / Market Insight)
AED 12,000 – AED 18,000 per month (depending on experience and project scale).
