Job Overview

This is a full-time painting role based in the UAE, focused on both interior and exterior surfaces. You will be part of the finishing team, working under the supervision of a site foreman or finishing supervisor. Experience in construction painting, decorative work, and surface preparation is required.

Role / Job Purpose

As a Painter, you will prepare and paint various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, metal, and wood. Your role involves applying primers, sealers, and final finishes to deliver a clean, durable, and aesthetically pleasing result.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting (masonry, wood, metal)

• Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

• Perform minor repairs, touch-ups, and surface refinishing

• Follow work schedules, meet project deadlines, and maintain quality standards

• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition

• Ensure a safe and clean workspace, disposing of waste materials properly

• Coordinate with site teams, foremen, and supervisors to fulfill painting requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a painter in construction, finishing, or maintenance projects

• Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing materials

• Physical stamina to work long hours, climb ladders, and work at heights when necessary

• Attention to detail and a strong eye for a clean, consistent finish

• Basic understanding of color matching and paint mixing

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Fluency in English is preferred; other languages are a plus

Salary & Market Insight

• Average painter salary in the UAE is AED 2,485/month, according to Naukrigulf.

• Building painters in Dubai earn between AED 1,600–2,400/month depending on experience.

• A realistic salary range for this role would be AED 1,950–3,000/month, depending on skill, experience, and project type.
