Role / Job Purpose

In this role, you will ensure the back‑of‑house areas remain clean, sanitary, and well-organized. Your work will support kitchen operations and contribute to efficient, safe food service. You will handle cleaning duties, manage waste, and maintain stewarding equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and back‑of‑house service areas

• Use and maintain stewarding equipment including dishwashers, glass washers, and floor machines

• Wash and polish dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils following hygiene standards

• Sort and prepare kitchen operating equipment for functions or daily service

• Remove food waste and garbage in line with sanitation protocols

• Maintain all service and staff areas neat and organized

• Report any maintenance issues, breakages, or safety hazards to the supervisor

• Follow cleaning schedules and use cleaning chemicals safely

• Comply with health, hygiene, and safety regulations

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Basic understanding of safe cleaning practices and use of cleaning equipment

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment

• Reliable, punctual, and disciplined work ethic

• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry cleaning items

• Basic communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
