Collection Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collection Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves following up on outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records of collections, and coordinating with various internal departments to resolve billing issues. This position is key to ensuring healthy cash flow and financial stability for the company’s operations in KSA.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers/clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.

• Maintain a systematic record of collection activities and client communications.

• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to verify billing and reconcile accounts.

• Monitor aging reports and prepare weekly or monthly collection status updates.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve payment issues.

• Prepare collection reports and reconcile customer accounts for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi financial regulations.

• Support finance and audit teams during reviews and suggest process improvements for collections.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably within Saudi Arabia.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills (English + Arabic preferred).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• High attention to detail, persistence, and a results-driven mindset.

• Ethical conduct, customer service orientation, and good coordination/reporting skills.

Salary & Benefits

 Around SAR 5,000 per month, based on reported salaries for Collection Officer roles in Riyadh.
