Role – Master Technician (Mechanical)

As a Master Technician, you will perform advanced mechanical repairs and maintenance, supervise mechanical maintenance operations, collaborate with engineering teams for problem resolution, and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are met. Your role is critical for maintaining uptime and reliability of machinery and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex systems (pumps, motors, HVAC, conveyors, etc.).

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to prevent downtime.

• Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.

• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to plan repairs and upgrades.

• Maintain and calibrate mechanical tools and equipment.

• Document maintenance work, log faults, and report recurring issues.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

• Provide technical guidance on spare parts, mechanical improvements, and system optimizations.

• Support shutdowns or major maintenance events as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical qualification / diploma / certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance / technician role.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, motors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, etc.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Leadership ability with experience guiding junior technicians.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Awareness of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
