A reputable engineering-consultancy / construction company in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong technical skills to drive HVAC, MEP, or industrial-mechanical projects. You will be responsible for design, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems in a variety of infrastructure and building projects.

Role – Mechanical Engineer

You will design, analyze, and support mechanical systems across engineering projects — including HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP services. You will ensure system compliance with local and international standards, assist in commissioning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design and performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and calculations for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.

• Prepare specifications for mechanical equipment and materials.

• Perform load calculations, system sizing, and energy-efficiency analysis.

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems.

• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance support for complex mechanical systems.

• Liaise with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure design intent is met.

• Prepare reports, progress documentation, and technical submittals.

• Ensure compliance with local codes (e.g., Dubai Civil Defense, DEWA) and international standards.

• Monitor project costs, timelines, and deliverables for mechanical scope.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 3–10 years of experience in MEP design, mechanical engineering, or maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, piping, fluid mechanics.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Carrier HAP, or similar.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Good communication and team-collaboration abilities.

• Familiarity with local regulations and building codes is a plus.

• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
