Role – Microsoft 365 / Power Platform Solutions Developer
In this role, you will engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, design scalable Power Platform solutions, build custom Power Apps, automate workflows using Power Automate, integrate with Microsoft 365 services, and support deployments and Maintenance. Your goal is to help customers streamline processes, improve productivity, and leverage the full capabilities of Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas, Model-driven) based on business requirements.
Build and maintain flows in Power Automate (cloud, desktop) to automate business processes.
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).
Build custom connectors, data models, and APIs if needed.
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI (optional, if part of solution).
Support solution deployment, testing, user-acceptance and user training.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing solutions, provide bug fixes or enhancements.
Liaise with business users, architects, and IT teams to ensure alignment of solution architecture.
Implement governance, security, and best practices for Power Platform development.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
3–8 years’ experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Experience with Microsoft 365 development and integration (SharePoint, Teams, Graph API, etc.).
Strong knowledge of data modeling, REST APIs, and connecting to external systems.
Good understanding of the Power Platform governance and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management).
Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills – able to translate business requirements into technical design.
Microsoft certification (PL-400, PL-200, or similar) is a plus.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Salary & Market Insight
According to Glassdoor, a Power Platform Developer in the UAE has reported a base salary around AED 8,000/month.
Based on broader market benchmarks (Power BI / Power Apps development), a competitive monthly compensation for this role would likely be in the range of AED 8,000–12,000, depending on experience, certifications, and responsibilities.
