  • Salary Range: AED 7,000 – 8,000 per month (dependent on experience and scope)

Role – Quality Assurance / Quality Control (Civil)

You will act as the civil-works quality champion on site and across project phases. Your responsibilities will include monitoring material and workmanship compliance, executing inspections and tests, managing non-conformance processes, maintaining documentation, and working closely with site and design teams to uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement site-specific QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs) for civil works, aligned with project specifications.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and material audits across civil trades (earthworks, concrete works, structural elements, civil finishes) to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications and standards.

  • Monitor and verify subcontractor compliance, coordinate with consultants/clients for inspections and approvals.

  • Raise, track and close non-conformance reports (NCRs), issue site observation reports (SORs), and assist corrective & preventive action implementation.

  • Review material submittals, approve or reject based on standards, and maintain material inspection request (MIR) logs.

  • Prepare QA/QC documentation and reports (e.g., inspection records, test logs, summary dashboards) and ensure document control system is maintained.

  • Contribute to project hand-over documentation by compiling quality records, test certificates and as-built QA/QC files.

  • Collaborate with civil site team, contractors, consultants and project management, supporting them in achieving quality compliance and hand-over readiness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

  • 3–6 years’ experience in QA/QC role within civil construction — preferably in UAE/GCC region.

  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods and QC/QA processes — experience with earthworks, concrete, structural elements is a plus.

  • Familiarity with inspection methods, ITPs, NCR management, and quality systems (ISO 9001).

  • Excellent communication, documentation and coordination skills; fluency in English; Arabic is advantageous.

  • Ability to read drawings, interpret specifications, use MS Office and quality management tools.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with ability to work in a site environment and uphold quality standards under supervision.

Salary & Market Insight

  • For civil QA/QC roles in the UAE, salaries typically range from AED 6,000–8,000/month for earlier experience levels.

  • Given the mid-level scope and responsibilities, a competitive salary for 3–6 years of experience would reasonably be in the AED 8,000–12,000/month range, depending on employer, project size and benefits.
