Experience: 3-6 years in quantity surveying or commercial roles on construction projects
Salary Range: AED 8,000 – 12,000 per month

Role – Quantity Surveyor
You will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), estimating and controlling costs, managing variations, reviewing site measurements, and liaising with procurement, contracts and site teams. Your role helps maintain commercial accuracy and ensures project cost issues are flagged and managed.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review and validate BOQs and bill reconciliations.
Carry out site measurement, quantity take-offs and work with site teams to confirm quantities.
Monitor contract variations, change orders and cost impact; assist with claims.
Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts, and cost-value reconciliations.
Coordinate with procurement, contracts and site for timely documentation and approvals.
Support tendering process by providing quantity inputs and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, contract requirements and Financial/Commercial controls.
Maintain documentation of quantities, variations, cost records and archive files.
Required Qualifications & Skills
3-6 years’ relevant experience in quantity surveying on construction projects in UAE or GCC.
Strong competence in BOQ preparation, measurement take-offs, cost control and variation management.
Proficient in MS Excel and quantity surveying/commercial software.
Good analytical skills with attention to detail; strong communication and coordination capability.
Ability to work with site teams, understand drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
Salary & Market Insight
The average salary for Quantity Surveyors in UAE is around AED 9,836/month.
For the role level described (3–6 years of experience), a competitive salary of AED 8,000–12,000/month is appropriate given market data.
