Role – Business Development Specialist
As a Business Development Specialist at Keeta, you will be the field- and merchant-facing driver of growth in the Makkah region. Your mission is to identify, onboard and support catering and F&B merchants, guide them onto our platform, and help them scale their delivery business. You’ll work cross-functionally, maintain business relationships, and play a key role in expanding our partner network in alignment with market demands and the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Identify catering and restaurant merchants for partnership through field visits, direct outreach and market prospecting.
Negotiate cooperation agreements and onboard new merchants onto the Keeta platform.
Assist partner-restaurants in setting up online stores, delivering training on platform functionalities, menu management and order-fulfilment best practices.
Support partner merchants in the planning and execution of online marketing campaigns, promotional offers, and delivery-growth strategies.
Maintain regular follow-ups and visits with partner merchants to monitor performance, resolve issues, and strengthen long-term relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, marketing, merchant success) to ensure smooth merchant activation and growth.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, merchant acquisition or similar roles.
Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to build business relationships and drive merchant satisfaction.
Comfortable working in a field-based role, visiting restaurants or merchant-outlets onsite.
Fluent in Arabic, with competent English reading/writing skills.
Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable in a dynamic, growth-oriented startup environment.

Location & Work Conditions
Based in Makkah Al Mukarramah, the role involves frequent field visits to merchants and sites in the region, as well as coordination with internal teams from the local office and head-office. You’ll need flexibility to work as required in field hours and adapt to varied operational settings.
