Role – Sales Executive (Building Materials)
You will be responsible for growing sales, maintaining and developing client relationships, understanding product specifications, negotiating contracts, closing deals, and contributing to the company’s revenue goals. You will also share market intelligence and align with marketing & product teams to ensure products meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new sales leads in building materials (tiles, carpets, sanitary, bathroom accessories).
Manage existing customers: follow up, upsell, ensure repeat business.
Present products and provide in-depth product knowledge and recommendations.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and close sales to meet monthly/quarterly targets.
Conduct market research to understand trends, customer preferences and competitor activity.
Prepare and submit regular reports to management on sales performance, pipeline & forecasts.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain to ensure product availability & suitable delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
2-8 years of sales experience, ideally in building materials, hardware or similar industries.
Strong negotiation, client-management and closing skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, travel if needed, and manage your leads and pipeline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools preferred.
