Role – Commercial Manager

You will oversee the commercial aspects of the business: managing contracts, pricing, cost control, budgeting, cash flow, margin improvement, and ensuring compliance with commercial policies. You’ll work closely with project teams, finance, sales, and operations to optimize revenue while maintaining quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage commercial strategy, pricing models, and margin targets.

  • Negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Oversee cost control, cost estimation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.

  • Ensure compliance with company commercial policies, risk mitigation, contractual obligations.

  • Track market trends, competitor pricing to adjust strategic positioning.

  • Collaborate with project / operations teams for commercial input and to manage scope changes or claims.

  • Lead team of commercial analysts / contract specialists.

  • Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, and present to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or similar. MBA or professional commercial certifications are a plus.

  • 8-12+ years of experience in commercial contract roles; experience in UAE or GCC preferred.

  • Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, risk management.

  • Excellent understanding of cost control, financial metrics, budgeting, margin management.

  • Ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical skills.
