Role – Sales Engineer (Cutting Tools)
You will promote and sell cutting tool products, build and manage customer relationships, provide technical support, run product trials, prepare quotations and reports, and achieve sales targets. Your technical know-how will help clients choose the right tools and optimize their machining processes.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell cutting tools & solutions to clients in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, engineering sectors.
Develop new business while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.
Provide technical support: tool selection, application advice, product trials, on-site demonstrations.
Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales reports, proposals, and market feedback.
Understand customer requirements thoroughly and recommend cutting tool solutions that match process, material, and performance needs.
Collaborate with internal technical/team support to optimize tool usage and application performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales of cutting tools or CNC tooling systems.
Experience with notable cutting tool brands like Walter, Sandvik, Trumpf, etc., is highly preferred.
Strong technical understanding of machining processes, tool geometry, cutting parameters.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Valid Saudi driving license; willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia as required.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
Salary & Market Insight
