Role – Electronics Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic circuits and systems. Your work includes schematics, PCB design or assembly oversight, testing & troubleshooting, component selection, and ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Collaboration with product teams, quality, and manufacturing will be important to ensure smooth development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuit schematics and select suitable components.

• Prototype, test and validate electronic modules, circuits and systems.

• Troubleshoot and repair faults in electronic hardware; perform diagnostics and corrective actions.

• Assist in documentation: datasheets, test plans, BOMs (Bill of Materials), user manuals.

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (EMC, safety, etc.) and ensure proper certification/testing.

• Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, firmware, QC, manufacturing) to integrate electronics into products.

• Identify improvements to performance, reliability, and cost of electronic systems.

• Maintain lab or test equipment; order parts/spares; manage associated inventory.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

• 2-5 years of experience in electronics design / test / maintenance.

• Hands-on experience with circuit design, PCB testing, prototyping, and debugging.

• Familiarity with test instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators etc.).

• Ability to read schematics, use CAD tools for PCB or circuit design (e.g. Altium, Eagle, KiCad etc.).

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication; ability to work in a team.

• Understanding of regulatory/safety standards relevant to electronics.

Average Salary

• Market research shows that Electronics Engineer roles in UAE average about AED 4,500/month, going up to AED 10,000+ depending on experience and sector.

• For more experienced professionals with specialized skills or leadership in electronics R&D / design, salary may reach AED 12,000-15,000+.
