Jobs in FIA Federal Investigation Agency

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is one of the prestigious and well-known federal institutions of Pakistan. All institutions provides regular government jobs in Pakistan. The FIA plays a very important role in maintaining Law & order in its own given sphere. During the start of the institution, Pakistan started the services from the Pakistan Special Police Establishment (PSPE) department for the investigation of bribery and corruption cases of central government employees. The department was given police powers as well as investigation powers to investigate the cases related to the offenses of government employees. According to Police reforms 1972 was submitted to the cabinet and after that, the making of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was highly recommended. The purpose of creating such an institution is to tackle and deal with offenses like smuggling, narcotics, currency offenses, foreigners’ law, and passport & immigration offenses. So as a result of such discussions and offenses, it was strongly desired to have such an organization. Consequently, the FIA act 1974 was promulgated in 1975 and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) came into existence.
