Job Duties

• Inspects and validates the overall stock’s quality and classification.
• Cuts, drills, gains, brands, tags, cleans and prepares poles for treatment using hand and framing tools.
• The processing of documents and reports.
• Maintains the work area, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  assists with material receipt, counting, identification, records, and information.
• As needed, assists in the operation of the full-length and deep incisors.
• Contributes to and participates in the company’s safety program.
• As assigned by the supervisor, performs additional tasks.

Eligibility Criteria

• Able to read specifications and drawings.
• Ability to learn new skills.
• Capable to use hand tools like drills, gainers, peaveys, chainsaws, and hammers.
• Knowledge of wood products and defects is preferred, but not required.
• Candidates must have the ability to work in a team.
