Role – Senior Interior Designer
In this role, you will lead the full interior design cycle: concept development, space planning, material & finishes selection, FF&E specification, technical documentation, client presentations, and overseeing execution / site work. You’ll also mentor junior designers, collaborate across disciplines (architecture, MEP, contractors), and ensure projects are delivered on time, within quality and design expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts: mood boards, 3D renderings, sketches, finishes & material boards.
Oversee FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) specification & procurement.
Produce technical drawings & documentation – detailed plans, elevations, material specifications.
Ensure design consistency and quality across all deliverables; review work by junior designers.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to align on design intent and resolve issues.
Conduct site visits & supervision to ensure design implementation aligns with drawings and material quality.
Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables; ensure timely delivery of design phases.
Stay updated with design trends, new materials / finishes, and benchmark work against market standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related discipline.
Minimum 6-10 years’ experience in interior design, especially in residential, hospitality or high-end commercial projects.
Strong portfolio showing end-to-end project delivery (concept through installation).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD/BIM tools, plus 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent presentation & client communication skills.
High attention to detail; strong aesthetic sense with material, colour & finish knowledge.
Ability to lead small teams, mentor juniors, and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
