Role – Project Manager (Steel & Shade Structures)

You will lead multiple steel and shade structure projects, coordinating all aspects: design, fabrication, site installation, quality assurance, safety, cost control and client relations. Your role is central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for steel and shade structure projects.

• Oversee design reviews, engineering drawings, fabrication, and installation phases, ensuring adherence to architectural & structural specifications.

• Coordinate with clients, design & engineering consultants, fabrication workshops, site teams, and subcontractors.

• Manage procurement of steel, shade materials, and components; ensure quality and compliance with codes/standards.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality; resolve onsite issues proactively.

• Track project costs, schedule milestones, produce progress reports for senior management.

• Implement risk mitigation strategies to avoid delays, cost overruns or quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce health, safety and environmental policies throughout project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

• 5-8+ years’ experience specifically in steel structures, shade canopies, tensile shade works or similar.

• Proven track record managing fabrication & installation in UAE or similar GCC market.

• Strong ability to read & interpret structural drawings and engineering documentation.

• Excellent project management skills with familiarity with MS Project / Primavera or similar tools.

• Good communication, negotiation & stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem solver, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Location & Work Conditions

• Based in Dubai. Frequent travel between fabrication site, client site and project locations.

• Full-time onsite, with some extended hours as necessitated by project needs and client deadlines.
