• Emptying trash and recycling bins and removing bottles and papers.
• Have to do sweeping and mop surfaces manually.
• Scrubbing, stripping, waxing, vacuuming, extracting, shampooing, dusting, polishing, and buffing surfaces using manual and mechanical methods.
• Selecting and mixing cleaning chemicals appropriately.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be considered for this position, you must have previous professional cleaning experience and be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, climb a six-foot ladder, and work in confined spaces and storage rooms.
• You must also comply with all NYIT policies and procedures, including time and attendance requirements and policies related to the use of NYIT-issued uniforms.
