Nursery Labourer Career Responsibilities:

• Promote healthy growth of the plants and improve their appearance by pruning and trimming, this include shaping the plant and maintaining size
• Preparing the soil, planting the seedlings, and watering them regularly until they are established
• Water the plants in the nursery using hoses, watering cans, or irrigation systems
• Follow guidelines provided by the nursery Manager and fertilize plants in the nursery
• Harvesting and packaging by carefully removing the plants from the nursery beds, cleaning, and trimming them
• General maintenance tasks around the nursery like cleaning up debris, repairing fences, or painting buildings
• Maintain records of plant growth and health
