Job Overview

KEO International Consultants is seeking an experienced MEP Inspector / Mechanical Inspector to join its team in Ras Al-Khaimah, UAE. The successful candidate will provide on-site supervision and technical support for MEP works, ensuring that installations meet approved designs, project specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the design coordination and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Ensure MEP works comply with applicable local codes, standards, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Review MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and compliance with approved drawings.
  • Inspect and test MEP installations at different stages of construction.
  • Identify and resolve MEP-related defects, clashes, and technical issues.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Maintain inspection records, testing results, approvals, and non-conformance reports.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure MEP activities are carried out in accordance with approved safety procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance to construction and project teams on MEP-related matters.
  • Assist with technical queries, interdisciplinary coordination, and interpretation of drawings and specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in MEP inspection, construction supervision, or related engineering roles.
  • Experience working on infrastructure projects in the UAE is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction standards, and project specifications.
  • Good site inspection, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
