Role – MEP Contracts & Projects Manager

In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of MEP contracts and projects — from tendering & contract negotiation, through design, procurement, installation, to commissioning & handover. You’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with contract terms, while maintaining high technical standards and efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of MEP contracts and sub-contracts.

• Define scope, terms, KPIs, and ensure proper compliance to contract obligations.

• Oversee tendering process, evaluate bids (vendors, subcontractors), and award contracts.

• Manage MEP project delivery — coordinate design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing & commissioning.

• Maintain budget controls, cash flow monitoring, cost reporting and manage change orders or claims.

• Collaborate with internal teams (design, procurement, site operations, HSE) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, suppliers).

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and quality / safety standards.

• Monitor project schedules; anticipate risks and bottlenecks; establish mitigation plans.

• Prepare regular project status reports to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in managing MEP projects in the UAE / GCC.

• Strong contracts management experience — tendering, negotiation, claims handling.

• Technical expertise across MEP disciplines (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) and contract documentation.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage multiple projects.
