Job Duties

• Collecting and disposing of garbage from offices and common areas regularly.
• Submitting requisitions for maintenance and repair supplies and controlling the inventory of supplies.
• Conducting a monthly physical plant and fire safety audit of the facility (as needed).
• Establishing and carrying out a preventative maintenance schedule for the Scatter Site Units, such as minor painting, plastering, changing locks, changing lighting fixtures, and light installations.
• Installing fire extinguishers and carbon monoxide detectors.
• Installing air conditioners when necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

• A minimum of one year of experience in a large residential or program setting in maintenance and cleaning is required,
• The qualification required is a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience working with young adults is preferred.
• Experience working with homeless families and mental health will be an edge.
