Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics department including inventory control, warehouse organization, shipping/receiving functions, and delivery schedules.
• Develop strategies for streamlining processes to improve efficiency levels.
• Monitor warehouse operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all goods handled within the warehouse or distribution center.
• Work closely with other departments such as purchasing and sales to ensure customer service standards are met.
• Supervise staff performance; provide training or guidance when necessary; resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise among employees.
• Develop safety protocols within the warehouse environment to comply with regulations and protect employees from harm or injury while on the job.
• Create reports related to operational performance metrics such as cost savings initiatives or process improvements implemented.
