Logistics & SCM Operations Planner (1 Position)
Location: Remote | Full-Time | Flexible Hours | Reports to Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Planning & Design: Define and design operational logistics strategies at Rakuten distribution centers.

  • Operational Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document logistics requirements.

  • Execution & Improvement: Lead the execution of new logistics services, propose improvements, and enhance operational efficiencies.

  • Process Optimization: Continuously monitor, evaluate, and suggest improvements for current logistics processes.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as IT, procurement, and customer service to ensure smooth integration of new logistics solutions.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize logistics data to produce reports, track performance, and implement corrective actions.

  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that logistics improvements directly contribute to enhanced customer experience and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Proven experience in logistics planning, supply chain management, or operations in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of logistics software tools and supply chain management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret logistics data and translate it into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
