Logistics Manager Job at The Red Sea Landscape Nursery in Saudi Arabia

Logistics Manager Job at The Red Sea Landscape Nursery in Saudi Arabia. Are you an experienced logistics or supply chain professional with a passion for sustainability? Botanica Red Sea — a subsidiary of Red Sea Global — is looking for a talented Nursery Logistics Manager to oversee plant importation, sourcing, quarantine, and dispatch operations at one of the most ambitious green development projects on the planet. If you are seeking logistics management jobs in Saudi Arabia that genuinely make a difference to the environment — this is your role.

Employer: The Red Sea Landscape Nursery (Botanica — Red Sea Global Group)

Location: Red Sea, Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Type: Full-Time

Who Is Botanica?

Botanica is not your typical nursery operation. Spanning over 1 million square meters and having cultivated more than 5 million plants since 2020 — with an ambitious target of 30 million by 2030 — Botanica is pioneering global benchmarks in sustainable landscape development. As a proud subsidiary of Red Sea Global, it supplies carefully integrated greenery across the breathtaking destinations of The Red Sea and Amaala, with 40% of its workforce drawn from the local Saudi community.

This is sustainability at a scale most professionals will never get the chance to touch.

What You Will Be Doing

This role sits at the nerve centre of Botanica’s entire plant supply chain. As Nursery Logistics Manager, you are the critical link connecting procurement, biosecurity, freight forwarders, nursery production, and project delivery teams — making sure millions of plants move safely, compliantly, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Import & International Logistics

  • Coordinate importation of plants and trees from local and international suppliers — containerised and loose shipments
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and internal clearance teams for smooth EXW, CIF, and DDP shipments
  • Ensure all import permits, phytosanitary certificates, SABER registrations, and customs documentation are in place before shipment arrival
  • Proactively manage delays, damages, and compliance risks across the supply chain

Receiving, Unloading & Quarantine

  • Supervise unloading of all plant shipments — verifying quantities, specifications, and plant health standards
  • Coordinate inspection, quarantine, and acclimatisation processes with biosecurity and quality teams
  • Manage corrective actions for rejected, damaged, or non-compliant plant material

Plant Sourcing & Supplier Coordination

  • Support sourcing activities with procurement and nursery production teams to meet project demand
  • Liaise with approved nurseries on availability, lead times, and specifications
  • Participate in supplier inspections and pre-shipment quality verification

Dispatch & Distribution

  • Plan and execute daily plant dispatches to RSG projects, Amaala, and external clients
  • Coordinate loading, transport scheduling, and dispatch documentation
  • Ensure plants are properly packaged and protected during transport to minimise losses

Inventory & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records for imported and locally sourced plants, plant movement, quarantine, storage, and dispatch
  • Update logistics trackers and inventory systems to support planning and reporting

Compliance, Safety & Quality

  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations, biosecurity protocols, and nursery standards
  • Coordinate with HSSE teams on safe unloading, handling, and transport practices

Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
  • Experience: 5–8 years in nursery, agriculture, or landscaping logistics — plant import experience strongly preferred
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant handling, quarantine, biosecurity requirements, and containerised shipments
  • Process Skills: Proven experience in process improvement and implementation of supply chain best practices
  • Mindset: Data-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure
  • Communication: Strong written and spoken English; excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • Environment: Comfortable working effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced operational setting

Salary & Compensation

Estimated Salary Range: SAR 15,000 – SAR 22,000 per month (based on Saudi market rates for logistics managers with 5–8 years experience in specialised supply chain roles)

A typical Red Sea Global Group package includes:

  • Tax-free salary (no personal income tax in Saudi Arabia)
  • Housing allowance or provided accommodation
  • Transport allowance
  • Annual flights to home country
  • Medical insurance for employee and dependants
  • Performance-based bonus
  • End-of-service gratuity

Final salary confirmed at offer stage based on experience, qualifications, and location.
