Job Responsibilities:

• Follow daily delivery and pick-up schedule.
• Secure loads to the vehicle before starting a journey.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and speed limits while driving.
• Inspect vehicle prior to leaving on any trip and after returning from a trip.
• Maintain records of trips, such as vehicle mileage, fuel usage, and any problems encountered while driving.
• Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean at all times when in use or not in use.
• Report any mechanical issues or damage to the vehicle to supervisor immediately, including flat tires or other related issues that may need to be addressed by a mechanic or shop for repair/maintenance work.
• Properly load and unload goods from the vehicle as required per customer instructions or company policies/guidelines
• Ensure proper handling of goods during transport by securing them properly inside the truck or trailer to prevent damage due to shifting during transport or improper loading/unloading procedures by personnel at customer locations or other external locations where goods are being picked up/dropped off from/to
• Communicate with customers as needed throughout trips, including providing updates on delivery/pick-up times and confirming receipt of goods upon arrival at the destination
