Job Responsibilities:

• Review and approve purchase requisitions and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Verify accuracy of vendor invoices and codes for payment processing.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports related to accounts payable and inventory management.
• Manage relationships with vendors to ensure best pricing, terms, and quality of goods received.
• Train new staff in inventory management procedures as needed.
• Oversee physical inventories on a regular basis to maintain accurate records of stock levels and availability at all times.
• Maintain strong internal control procedures related to the receipt, storage, issuance, recording, management, and safeguarding of all inventory items in the organization’s warehouses or stores
• Develop policies and procedures for efficient inventory control processes including stock rotation schemes and reordering systems.
