Job Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all inventory items, including locations, quantities on hand, reorder points and order status.
Monitor inventory levels and order new stock when necessary.
Ensure that all orders are received in a timely manner.
Track shipments to ensure accuracy and completion of orders.
Investigate any discrepancies in received shipments or invoices.
Perform regular stock counts to verify physical inventory against records.
Generate reports regarding inventory levels and supplies needed for management review.
Maintain accurate filing systems for invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes and other documents related to the ordering process.
Work with Purchasing Department to identify potential suppliers for goods or services needed by the organization.
Work with sales staff to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
