Job Responsibilities:

• Review, process, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure invoices are coded correctly and match purchase orders or contracts.
• Research discrepancies between invoice information and purchase orders or contracts.
• Prepare invoices for payment, including entering data into accounting software and filing physical copies of documents.
• Maintain accurate records of all invoices processed and payments made.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors regarding invoice payments or discrepancies in invoices or payments.
• Generate reports for management on vendor expenses, payments, and account balances as needed.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions with the general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Act as a liaison between the company, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve any invoice-related issues quickly and efficiently.
• Develop relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods/services at competitive pricing levels.
