Job Overview
Al-Futtaim Health is on the lookout for a skilled Head Nurse to oversee nursing operations at our vibrant HealthHub Clinic located in Jumeirah Village Circle, Dubai. This pivotal role is designed for an experienced nursing professional currently serving in a senior capacity, such as Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, or Nurse Manager. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a high-performing nursing team while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence. The ability to communicate fluently in both Arabic and English is essential, as you will be engaging with a diverse patient population, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of nursing professionals, ensuring effective supervision and support.
- Manage daily staffing allocations, nurse scheduling, and workflow to optimize clinic operations.
- Provide coaching and performance evaluations to enhance the skills and development of nursing staff.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives for new nursing team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance and patient care standards.
- Ensure safe, evidence-based nursing practices are consistently applied across the clinic.
- Assist physicians during consultations and clinical procedures, maintaining a collaborative environment.
- Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, infection control protocols, and patient safety measures.
- Monitor medication management, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
- Track clinical KPIs and support the achievement of departmental performance goals.
- Respond to clinical incidents appropriately and escalate concerns as necessary.
- Promote patient safety, dignity, and compassionate care in all interactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must hold a DHA License as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role such as Head Nurse or Nurse Manager.
- Previous experience in the UAE healthcare sector is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage nursing rosters and clinic operations effectively.
- BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS and/or PALS certification is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in computer systems and EMR is necessary.
- Fluent in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
