Job Roles

• To execute orders from the Supervisor and/or Ganger to operate plant or light trucks for maintenance, construction, or both.
• To perform routine manual labour tasks without direct supervision while taking full accountability for the accuracy and quality of tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Ganger.
• Assist and supervise employees in the District’s day-to-day operations.

Eligibility Criteria

• Current RMS Issued Traffic Control or SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training Cards for “Traffic controller” and “Implement traffic control plans,” or the willingness to obtain them.
• Current NSW General Construction induction card (white card) or an accepted interstate alternative.
• At least 12 months of work experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities.
• Demonstrated experience in operating minor and major plant and/or light trucks.
