Job Duties

• Maintains knowledge of the fundamentals of hard-surface floor maintenance and follows proper procedures for hard floor care, such as stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Uses a variety of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment to clean a large area of the floor surface.
• Follows proper carpet and upholstery care, such as shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming, among other things.

Eligibility Criteria

• Prior experience as a floor care technician or in a similar position is preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and methods is required.
• Safety procedures must be followed.
• Up to 50 lbs. of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling are required frequently.
