Role – Fashion Designer (Bags & Accessories)

You’ll be responsible for designing and developing seasonal collections of bags, accessories, and footwear—taking them from mood boards and concepts through to technical specifications and finished products. You’ll conduct trend & market research, source materials, collaborate with production and ensure designs marry aesthetics with function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasonal accessory, handbag, and footwear collections from concept to production.

• Research trends, source materials, and analyze market demands to shape design direction.

• Produce sketches, technical drawings, mood boards, tech packs/specs for sampling and production.

• Ensure designs meet quality, aesthetic, functional standards—including durability, comfort, finishing, and material integrity.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sourcing, quality, and merchandising.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related discipline; specialization in Bags/Accessories or Footwear is preferred.

• 3+ years of relevant experience designing bags/accessories/footwear for a brand or label.

• Strong knowledge of materials (leather, fabrics), hardware (zippers, buckles, loops), and construction techniques.

• Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop; technical drawing skills; 3D design skills are a plus.

Location & Work Conditions

• Based in Dubai, working in the company’s design studio / HQ. Travel to vendors / factories may be required at times.
