Job Overview
Location: UAE (Dubai / Abu Dhabi)

Reports To: Lifting Supervisor / Site Manager
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in crane operation preferred
Experience: 2-5 years operating mobile, tower, or overhead cranes in construction or industrial settings

Role – Crane Operator
You will be responsible for executing lifting operations using cranes (mobile, tower, overhead etc.), following lift plans and signals, conducting safety & equipment inspections, maintaining loads securely, and coordinating with ground crew. You will help ensure safe, timely, and accurate load movements to support construction or industrial workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position loads per project requirements.
Inspect crane equipment before each use: conduct pre-operation checks and report malfunctions.
Read and interpret lift plans, load charts, rigging requirements, signals, and hand signals.
Coordinate with riggers, signalers, ground personnel to ensure safe lift operations.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and site rules.
Maintain accurate logs of crane use, maintenance checks, and incidents.
Participate in regular maintenance of crane (greasing, checks, cleaning) and ensure good working condition.
Assist with setup and disassembly of crane equipment where required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Valid UAE crane operator license or certification.
2-5 years of crane operating experience in UAE or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of load handling, rigging, load charts, hand signals.
Good spatial awareness, coordination, and focus.
Physically fit; able to work in varied weather and heights.
Basic English communication; other languages (Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, etc.) helpful.
Commitment to safety and high attention to detail.
