Job Overview

KPMG Bahrain is hiring an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and deliver high-quality assurance services. This role is ideal for qualified audit professionals with strong experience in public accounting, financial reporting, and banking audits. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client portfolio while leading audit teams in accordance with KPMG’s global audit methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Develop audit strategies based on client risks and business objectives.
• Supervise audit teams, assign workloads, and monitor project progress.
• Review audit evidence and ensure compliance with auditing standards.
• Prepare management letters and audit reports for senior management review.
• Respond to client queries and provide practical audit solutions.
• Manage audit budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensure engagements are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Support financial reporting and other assurance-related assignments.
• Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring service quality.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, or CIA.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Minimum 5 years of public audit experience, including at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience with a Big Four audit firm is preferred.
• Experience auditing banking clients with knowledge of IFRS 9 and Basel regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and audit best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
