Job Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable as well as billing activities.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for accruals and other transactions.
• Monitor budget expenses to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Reconcile investments against broker statements on a regular basis.
• Analyze costs associated with capital projects or new product lines.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns by providing necessary documents and calculations for various tax forms such as income tax returns or 1099 forms.
• Assist in the preparation of internal audits by gathering necessary documents such as contracts or invoices from vendors or customers.
