Company Description
King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam KFSH-D stands proudly in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The hospital’s construction embarked on its journey in 1984, a process that unfolded meticulously and saw its completion in 1999, though extended due to various reasons.
Originally bearing the name “Gulf Hospital,” its identity underwent a transformation through a Royal Decree, leading to its rechristening as “King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam.” This significant change was a precursor to the grand inauguration on 17 September 2005, an event graced by the esteemed presence of His Majesty King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz, who dedicated the hospital to public service.
The year 2008 marked a pivotal juncture as KFSH-D evolved into a tertiary referral hospital, elevating its stature by providing specialized medical care in crucial domains such as Oncology, Organ Transplant, Neurosciences, Cardiac Services, and Genetic Sciences. Alongside these, a spectrum of other specialized services such as Hematology, Nuclear Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Emergency Medicine, and more became integral offerings.
Comprising an extensive team, King Fahad Specialist Hospital Dammam KFSH-D is fortified by almost 2453 employees, each contributing to the hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. The hospital’s commitment goes beyond conventional medical care, embracing a holistic approach that caters to the diverse needs of the community it serves. As a cornerstone of healthcare excellence, King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam stands as a testament to Saudi Arabia’s dedication to advancing medical expertise and ensuring the well-being of its citizens.
