Job Overview / Role Summary
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing all contractual aspects of projects from award through completion. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating contracts and subcontracts, monitoring compliance, handling contract correspondence, payments, variations and claims — helping ensure smooth project delivery in line with contractual and commercial obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage main contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Review contract documents, monitor obligations, identify deviations, variations, claims, and commercial risks.
Draft and manage all contract-related correspondence — including letters, notices, change orders, and payment applications.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely approvals, payments, and contract fulfillment.
Monitor project milestones with respect to contract schedule, prepare progress reports, and support contract-related decision-making.
Maintain accurate contract documentation and records, including amendments, change orders and final accounts.
Assist in negotiation during commercial and contractual issues, claims or disputes where required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years experience in contract administration within construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, contract terms & conditions, and familiarity with international contract standards such as FIDIC (or similar).
Excellent English language skills (written and verbal); ability to draft clear contractual documents and communicate with stakeholders.
Good analytical, negotiation, and risk-assessment skills; ability to interpret contract clauses, identify risks and manage contract variations and claims.
Preferred Skills / Bonus Qualifications
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or government-related projects.
Prior exposure to subcontract and vendor management, payments processing and change control procedures.
Familiarity with contract administration software or systems, ERP, and strong documentation practices.
Salary & Benefits
Approximate monthly salary: QAR 18,000 – QAR 20,000.

Location & Work Conditions
Based in Doha, Qatar.
Full-time role, requiring close coordination with project and site teams, subcontractors and clients.
Work environment may include construction / project-based requirements, contract lifecycle across tender, execution and completion phases.
