Job Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Electrician in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in commercial and industrial facilities.

The role involves reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for LV/MV systems, low-current systems, control panels, and other electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for LV/MV electrical systems, low-current systems, and control panels.
• Provide first-response support for electrical faults, service requests, and emergency callouts.
• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential electrical issues.
• Diagnose and repair faults involving FACP panels, BMS systems, UPS systems, PAVA systems, fan motors, pumps, control panels, lighting panels, distribution panels, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Clean and service electrical components to maintain safe and efficient operation.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance team members to prioritize and complete work orders.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, work performed, and parts used.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency callouts to minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose system malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and qualifications.
• Seek technical support when required and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with applicable electrical codes, standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Follow up with supervisors to ensure activities and events are closed on time.
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when required.
• Maintain knowledge of building automation systems and electrical controls.
• Stay updated on electrical technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Understanding of LV/MV and low-current systems.
• Knowledge of electrical control panels and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and controls.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults.
• Understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergency maintenance requirements.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
