Job Overview

Parsons is seeking a Civil Inspector (Infrastructure) to join its team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This opportunity is ideal for civil engineering professionals with experience supervising large-scale infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and utility networks.

As a Civil Inspector, you will monitor construction activities, conduct site inspections, verify compliance with project specifications, and ensure infrastructure works are completed according to approved drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect infrastructure construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Supervise works related to roads, highways, bridges, drainage, water, sewer, gas, and utility networks.
• Conduct field inspections and perform quality checks on completed work.
• Review civil works, structural elements, and underground utility installations.
• Coordinate material sampling, laboratory testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Verify construction line, level, and grade with survey teams.
• Monitor contractors’ work quality and report non-compliance issues.
• Maintain detailed daily inspection reports, site records, and progress documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites.
• Support quality control procedures and participate in safety inspections.
• Assist the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) with inspection reports and technical observations.

Requirements

• Diploma (3-year) or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision.
• Experience working on roads, highways, bridges, utilities, and civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and technical documents.
• Knowledge of quality control and construction safety standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Previous UAE infrastructure project experience is preferred.
