Job Summary

JESS Arabian Ranches Primary School is seeking a dedicated Inclusion Learning Support Assistant to join its team for the 2026–2027 academic year. The successful candidate will support students with additional learning needs, work closely with teachers and the Inclusion Team, and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individual students and small groups in their learning.
• Assist with lesson planning, assessment, record keeping, and classroom activities.
• Provide observational feedback to the Inclusion Team, class teachers, and year group leaders.
• Build positive relationships with children aged 4–11 years.
• Assist teachers in delivering effective inclusion support.
• Cover Inclusion Teachers when required.
• Attend relevant professional development (CPD) sessions.
• Support students during school trips and other school activities.
• Carry out additional duties related to the role as required.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• CACHE Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
• Recent classroom-based experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
• High expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
• Willingness to follow guidance from teachers and senior staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Positive, enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated attitude.
• Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

Employment Requirements

This position is offered on a local contract only.
