Overview

This role sits on the front line of process plant operations across two key sites — Fahaheel and Julaia — where operators keep production facilities running within precise operating limits every shift. It’s a hands-on position for someone who already has real operating-floor experience in oil or petrochemical processing and is ready to take direct responsibility for recovery and injection targets on their assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust production facilities under the direction of the General Operator or Senior Operator
• Work within defined operational limits to hit maximum recovery and injection targets each shift
• Monitor plant conditions continuously and make real-time adjustments as instructed
• Flag any readings or conditions outside normal parameters immediately, rather than waiting for shift handover

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience operating process plants in the oil or petrochemical industry (not an entry-level role)
• Completed secondary education (12 years)
• 3 years of formal technical training in process plant operations
• Relevant short courses in safety and plant operations, or equivalent
• TAFE-equivalent qualifications accepted for applicable nationals

Salary

600 QAR per month
