Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging learning experiences and ensure a safe, caring, and productive classroom environment. You will work closely with children and staff to promote learning, development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Support teachers in classroom activities and daily routines

Assist students with reading, literacy, and numeracy development

Conduct small group learning sessions inside and outside the classroom

Prepare classroom materials, worksheets, and displays

Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom and resources

Supervise children during activities and assist in emergency classroom cover

Support children with personal care when required

Follow school policies, safeguarding standards, and confidentiality rules

Participate in staff meetings and school activities

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Good general education (especially Maths & English)
• Experience: Previous experience working with children or as a Teaching Assistant preferred
• Skills & Qualities:
  1. Strong communication skills (written & spoken English)
  2. Basic ICT skills are an advantage
  3. Patient, caring, and positive attitude
  4. Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  5. Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
