Job Overview / Role Summary
Full-time Legal Executive role based in Manama, Bahrain.
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements such as service contracts, NDAs, supplier/vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
Provides legal support and advice on commercial transactions, ensures compliance with laws and internal policies, and supports corporate stakeholders in contract-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements (service agreements, NDAs, supplier/vendor contracts, partnership agreements, etc.).
Identify legal risks, ambiguities, or compliance issues in contracts and coordinate with relevant teams to mitigate them.
Conduct legal research on regulatory, commercial, or corporate law issues relevant to contracts and operations.
Maintain organized records of contracts, manage contract lifecycles (renewals, expirations, obligations, deadlines).
Assist in developing and updating legal templates, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on commercial matters; liaise with departments like Procurement, Finance, HR, Operations when needed.
Translate legal documents between English and Arabic when required by the company.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
3–4 years of experience in a legal role — preferably in corporate, commercial, or in-house legal departments.
Proven track record in reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
Strong command of both Arabic and English (reading, drafting, communication).
Proficiency in legal research, contract-management tools, and standard office software (e.g. MS Office).
Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and risk-assessment skills. High attention to detail and professional judgement.
Ability to handle multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Salary & Benefits (Estimated)
Estimated Average Salary: BHD 600 – 900 per month (for legal-executive / contract-review roles in Bahrain with 3–5 years’ experience).
For mid-level candidates (3–4 years, with commercial-contracts experience), salary may be toward the upper end of this range.
Benefits may include typical corporate packages — performance bonuses, allowances, and possibly health or insurance benefits (depending on employer policy / contract).
