Role Summary
Full-time Operations Manager position in Bahrain (Seef / Manama area).
Support the Head of Operations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day banking operations across departments.
Ensure compliance with Islamic banking policies, corporate procedures, and operational standards — including documentation, verification, risk mitigation, and internal controls.
Work on process improvements, system enhancements, and workflow optimizations to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee banking operations to ensure timely, accurate client servicing and internal compliance.
Maintain strong client relationships by delivering high‑quality service and resolving operational issues efficiently.
Ensure strict adherence to Islamic banking standards, regulatory requirements (AML/KYC/OFAC/FATF), and internal banking policies.
Handle trade finance, international payments, SWIFT/SafeWatch operations, Nostro/Vostro accounts, and money‑market transactions as needed.
Collaborate with other departments for documentation, compliance checks, and workflow improvements; support product/process development and implementation.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Strong practical knowledge of SWIFT, SafeWatch, core‑banking systems (preferably iMal), international payments, money‑market operations, and trade finance.
Solid understanding of AML/KYC/OFAC/FATF regulations, and experience in compliance and risk management.
Proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and verbal).
Salary & Benefits
Approximate Salary: BHD 1,800 – BHD 2,400/month (typical range for operations‑manager roles in Bahrain)
Offered Salary in this listing: up to BHD 2,100/month (all‑inclusive), plus family benefits, allowances, and bonus structure.
