Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for all facility assets.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair, installation, and commissioning tasks.
Monitor facility performance metrics (energy use, downtime, system reliability) and propose improvements.
Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare and manage maintenance budgets and track maintenance cost KPIs.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical and electrical failures and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain technical documentation: operation manuals, maintenance logs, and system diagrams.
Train and mentor junior facility technicians and engineers.
Evaluate and recommend upgrades or retrofits for facility systems to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or a related field.
10 to 16 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance, or engineering in industrial or commercial environments.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, power distribution, plumbing, fire systems).
Experience in preventive maintenance and reliability engineering.
Proficiency with facility management software / CMMS.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project-management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with teams and external contractors.
Knowledge of international and Kuwait-specific regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes operational environment.
Salary & Benefits
