Role / Job Purpose
As the Female OB/GYN Consultant in Kuwait, you will oversee comprehensive women’s health services, including high-risk pregnancies, gynecological surgery, prenatal care, and postnatal follow-up. You will drive clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to hospital and regulatory standards in the OB/GYN department.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat gynecological and obstetric conditions including high-risk pregnancies, hormonal disorders, menopause, and fetal anomalies.
Manage antenatal care, labor, delivery (including cesarean, forceps, or vacuum), and postpartum care.
Interpret diagnostic tests (ultrasound, labs), counsel patients on preventive care, and recommend investigations.
Perform surgical procedures (laparoscopy, infertility surgery, gynecologic operations) in coordination with other consultants and anesthesiologists.
Provide leadership and supervision to OB/GYN registrars, nurses, and technical staff.
Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations, hospital policies, and ethical standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and medical education.
Required Qualifications & Skills
MBBS, MS / MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology
12–15 years of relevant clinical experience in OB/GYN
Experience in managing complicated pregnancies, gynecologic surgeries, and diagnostic testing
Strong communication skills, patient-centered care, and teamwork
Familiarity with local regulations and standard care protocols
Salary & Market Insight
