Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to support manufacturing or infrastructure operations.

• Source direct and indirect materials, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.

• Maintain and build strong supplier relationships; conduct supplier evaluations and audits.

• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, stores, QA) to ensure materials meet specifications and schedule.

• Prepare purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and manage inventory control.

• Ensure procurement practices comply with company policies and cost-optimization goals.

• Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, lead times, and supplier on-time delivery.

• Assist in budgeting, cost forecasting, and procurement planning.

• Support risk management in the supply chain, identify alternate sources, and handle supply-disruption contingencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7-10 years of hands-on procurement/sourcing experience, ideally in manufacturing or construction.

• Strong negotiation and contract-management skills.

• Familiarity with vendor management systems, ERP modules, and procurement best practices.

• Good analytical skills, attention to cost control, lead-time reduction and quality assurance.

• Excellent communication skills and capacity to work cross-functionally.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers under deadlines.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain/procurement is a plus.
