Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the school curriculum and academic objectives.
Create lesson plans, worksheets, assessments and support materials that engage and challenge students.
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment and encourage student participation and curiosity.
Collaborate with colleagues, attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, communicate student progress and discuss strategies for improvement.
Stay current on pedagogical strategies, math education research and incorporate best practices.
Contribute to extra-curricular maths clubs, competitions or enrichment activities (if required).
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification or diploma preferred.
Proven experience teaching mathematics, preferably in an international school setting.
Strong understanding of secondary mathematics topics (e.g., algebra, geometry, calculus) and ability to teach them effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage classes, engage learners and differentiate instruction.
Familiarity with international curricula (IB, IGCSE, A-Level) is a plus.
Professional, motivated, and passionate about teaching mathematics and student success.
